These jeans are inspired by jeans that exploded in popularity in the late 1960s in the East Coast, mainly in New York, as a new target in the United States, where logistics networks began to be developed.
The fabric is 12oz black in both length and width. The warp threads are No. 7 and the weft threads are No. 9, mainly made of American cotton, and the natural unevenness of the threads is dyed black with sulfur.
Because it is yarn-dyed, it will fade vertically, so you can enjoy the aging of black jeans.
This time, the fabric is Sanfo-processed, as it is based on 505.
Standardly, the weft threads are slightly fewer in number, which expresses the thin and worn look of old clothes when they fade.
So, it would be nice to wash them more and wear them with a faded look that resembles old clothes. It is a rare selvedge specification for a 505 base.
The silhouette is slightly slim, tapered straight towards the hem.
The fabric of the obi part is woven vertically, which means that the single-width fabric woven on an old shuttle loom is not wide enough for the waist.
It is hard to judge by appearance because it is black denim, but the obi is made of double-width fabric woven on an innovative loom, and the main body is made of single-width fabric woven on a shuttle loom, reproducing the specifications of rare vintage 505.
